2. Description of Service

VenturScan is a business idea discovery platform that aggregates publicly available data from online communities and search engines, analyzes it using AI, and presents scored business opportunities. The Service includes a free tier and a paid subscription tier.

3. Accounts

You may use VenturScan's email subscription without creating an account. To access the full feed and paid features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Service Access

VenturScan is currently offered as a free service. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or modify the free offering in the future with reasonable notice to users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from VenturScan for redistribution
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute opportunity reports or data
• Use the Service to harass, spam, or engage in illegal activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. Intellectual Property

The analysis, scores, reports, and presentation of data on VenturScan are our intellectual property. The underlying public data (Hacker News threads, Product Hunt comments, etc.) belongs to their respective authors and platforms. You may share individual opportunity cards via the built-in share features.

7. User Comments

VenturScan allows users to comment on and upvote comments on opportunity cards. You retain ownership of your comments but grant us a license to display them on the platform. We reserve the right to remove comments that violate these terms or community guidelines. You are responsible for the content of your comments. Abuse of the voting system (e.g., automated voting or vote manipulation) may result in account suspension.

8. Disclaimer

VenturScan provides research and analysis for educational purposes only. Opportunity scores, revenue estimates, and market data are based on publicly available information and AI analysis — they are not guarantees of business success. Always conduct your own due diligence before starting a business. We are not responsible for business decisions made based on our data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VenturScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
